The blend of 80% extra fine Merino and 20% nylon makes it next to skin soft and sturdy enough to withstand a good amount of wear.
This high-twist sock yarn blooms beautifully and is great for making sweaters, shawls, socks, baby clothes and stuffed toys! It knits up like a dream.
While Squirm Sock is superwash treated, and this versatile sock yarn can withstand machine washing up to 40°C, we do advise you to hand wash all finished items with a mild wool-specific detergent (like Eucalan or Soak) to keep them in your life as long as possible.

As a fat person, I (Aiden) know how hard it can be to source enough yarn to make myself a sweater. What takes the 'average' person 4 - 5 skeins, takes me at least 6 and usually around 8 skeins. (I'm between a 134 cm / 54 inch torso circumference).
