Insect Swarm is probably one of the least aesthetically pleasing abilities in the Bioshock games. Calling upon swarms of little critters to take out your opponents sure is effective though, so here we are with a black and yellow based colorway with speckles.
This is a 'half dunk' colorway. Which means that the 2 ends of the skein have a distinctly different color, with the colors meeting up in the middle. This yarn will pool / flash depending on how this colorway is knitted up. For sock knitters: you will probably get a spiral or staggered lines out of this yarn.
With a yarn base called BIOSOCK, you probably already guessed that we got our inspiration from the Bioshock games.
Aiden loves these dystopian games, even though some of them are getting eerily close to current day events. Jack still has them on their 'I need to play this one day' list.
The nylon in this base is biodegradable. It does not degrade until it reaches the garbage processing facility and special enzymes and micro-organisms are added to the waste. These break down the biodegradable nylon in the course of 3 years instead of the 40 years it takes most man-made fibers to be broken down.
This smooth 4-threaded fingering weight yarn base is a perfect mash up between the softness of merino wool and the longevity of nylon, with a biodegradable twist. It knits up perfectly for garments and other next-to-skin soft items. Socks, hats, sweaters, blankets... BIOSOCK can handle it all. BIOSOCK takes dye vividly, is soft, smooth and a delight to work with.
