These hand poured resin needle minders are perfect for a plethora of crafts. Every single one of them is unique and made by Aiden.
We use them to keep our embroidery needles in check when we're happily stabbing away on our cross stitching projects with our hand dyed embroidery threads.
You can also use them to keep track of your (metal) stitch markers while knitting.
Or, if you're anything like me, you can use them to fish all of those dropped stitch markers from between the sofa cushions (I'm not even kidding, I have to do this once a month or I run out of stitch markers).
For this specific needle minder the clear frost resin shows the dark magnet circle on the back at the front of the minder!
Note: This is the first batch of Needle Minders that is fit for sale. They are hand made and thus not 100% 'perfect'. This does not impede their usage and is reflected in the retail price.
- Clear Casting Epoxy with at least 20% renewable ingredients;
- Non Toxic Pigments;
- Bio-degradable glitter;
- Two 3M magnets with a 2kg pull power;
- Upcycled birch, oukumé, bamboo or acrylic;
- Recycled FSC paper.
We attach two 3M magnet with an average pull capacity of up to 2kg's to the needle minders, so you can 'sandwich' the needle minder onto fabric while embroidering.
The material covering the back magnets varies per batch, and will most likely be birch, okoumé, bamboo or acrylic. For the backing magnets we upcycle laser cut leftovers from a company that shares the building Undercover Otter's studio is located in.
