All yarn is dyed to order in batches of three skeins per colorway per base. The minimum order is three skeins.

If you’d like a multiple of three (for example, 6 or 9 skeins), simply add additional sets to your cart.

Eventide has a vibrant and bold color palette with shades sure to make your next project stand out. Eventide is available on lace, fingering and DK yarn bases with a blend of 60% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk and 20% Yak.

Eventide's yak base adds a deep heathered richness to the base which is enhanced beautifully by the sheen of the silk.

I love this yarn for its soft, plush texture which makes it delightful to work with, while the plied construction makes Eventide a little more robust than other yak-silk blends I've tried.

Regardless of where you place your order from, we calculate VAT according to your shipping address upon checkout.

If you are shopping from outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and we are shipping to you outside of the EEA, you will not pay any VAT (Value Added Tax / sales tax) at checkout.

EU/EEA customers:
We charge the VAT rate of your country.

Dutch customers:
We charge 21% VAT.

UK customers:
Orders with a value under 135 GBP are taxed with Undercover Otter at 20%.
Orders with values over 135 GBP are not taxed at Undercover Otter. Instead, you will pay VAT once the package arrives in the UK.
Undercover Otter is not responsible for how HMRC handles your shipment once it enters the United Kingdom.

Business customers: Ordering as a designer within the EU and need a VAT invoice for taxes? The order confirmation email will contain a link to a VAT compliant invoice you can download.

VAT reverse charge: If you're within the EU and want to use the VAT reverse charge system, reach out to us before ordering. I can not adjust invoices for purchases that have been paid already.

Customers outside the EEA see all prices on the website excluding taxes.

Customs and Import charges:
For some items, your customs bureau may require you to pay for importing your order (tariffs or import duties). This is a fee that the government charges you for the right to import certain goods. I declare the actual sales value of your purchases on shipping them with the appropriate HS codes. I will not substitute codes, mark parcels as gifts or lower the values (asking me to do so it basically fraud).

Undercover Otter has no control over the amount they will charge you when your order arrives in your country, and we cannot be held liable for these costs. If you refuse a shipment, and it gets returned to Undercover Otter, we can reship or refund your order, though you will have to pay for replacement shipping.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION WHEN PURCHASING HAND DYED YARN!

When purchasing hand dyed yarns, we recommend you purchase a sufficient amount of yarn for your project.

We sell handmade products that get produced in small batches. We always use the same recipes for repeatable colorways and work very precise measuring our materials. However, it's impossible to guarantee two skeins will ever look the same. With hand made products there is always some variation on the end product.

If you want a uniform result with the end product you are making, with knitting, crochet and weaving, alternate skeins once rows. If using fiber, you can mix and match some of the fibers as you go when spinning or felting.

When dyeing yarn we fully exhaust all pigments before going to the rinsing step. Despite the care we put into the rinsing process, mild bleeding is common in hand dyed yarn and if you have a skein with a bright or dark color, or it contains speckles, play it safe by rinsing the skein in cold water and some wool wash and let it dry before casting on.
