Product Description
Four skeins. Because every time a pattern says "one contrast color" somebody (me, it's me...) immediately thinks "what if I used four?"
This Set Contains:
- 1 skein of Nekromantik on Squirm
- 1 skein of Toxie on Squirm
- 1 skein of Sam on Squirm
- 1 skein of Citadel on Squirm
Perfect for shawls, colorwork, brioche, stripes, fading, marling, and other knitting techniques designed to convince you that buying more yarn was actually the responsible choice.
The colors have been selected to work together, which means you can skip the part where you spend forty-five minutes holding skeins at arm's length while muttering, "but does it go?"
Whether you're making an elegant colorwork sweater, a dramatic shawl, or simply collecting yarn because the world is on fire and this sparks joy, these three skeins are ready for duty.
I've already done the color matching. What happens after that is between you, your needles, and whatever project has most recently taken up residence in your brain.
Each skein is Fingering Weight, weighs 100 grams and has a runing length of 400 meters. Making a total of 1600 meters and 400 grams.
About this Base
Information
-
When yarn contains superwash fibers, it is possible to machine wash it up to 30°C. We do however always advise hand washing your finished items for longevity.
-
Mild bleeding may occur on first wash, even though all yarns are fully exhausted during dyeing and thoroughly rinsed. Particularly in saturated or speckled colorways, we recommend rinsing in cold water with wool wash before use if you prefer to minimize this risk.
-
We recommend purchasing enough yarn for your entire project at the start, as hand-dyed skeins are produced in small batches and cannot be perfectly replicated.
If you require more skeins for your project that we currently have available online, just shoot Aiden a message and we will set up a custom order for you. -
Unless otherwise stated, this listing is for one (1) skein of yarn. Images showing multiple skeins are used for comparison of bases and/or color variation.
-
Colorways may slightly differ in real life from what you see on your display. This is depending on your screen due to your display settings or the device you are using.

About Sets & Stock Levels
Our website prevents the overselling of items.
If you have a set in your cart that has an item in it of which we only have 1 left, and you add both the single item and the set to your cart, the shop system will not allow you to check out.
You will see an error message during the final checkout stating 'there is an issue with your order, please contact us' or something along those lines.
If you really really really want more of an item that is part of a set, but we only have 1 in stock, feel free to contact us and we can set up a custom order (if it's a repeatable colorway).

Taxes & Duties
Regardless of where you place your order from, we calculate VAT according to your shipping address upon checkout.
IMPORTANT: If you are using a VPN, or your shipping country differs from the one you are in during the purchase, the website may not be showing the correct VAT amount*.

Customs and Import charges:
For some items, your customs bureau may require you to pay for importing your order (tariffs or import duties). This is a fee that the government charges you for the right to import certain goods. I declare the actual sales value of your purchases on shipping them with the appropriate HS codes. I will not substitute codes, mark parcels as gifts or lower the values (asking me to do so it basically fraud).
Undercover Otter has no control over the amount they will charge you when your order arrives in your country, and we cannot be held liable for these costs. If you refuse a shipment, and it gets returned to Undercover Otter, we can reship or refund your order, though you will have to pay for replacement shipping.
