Reckless Attack features deep oranges, pinks and purples. The natural gray heathered base of NeverMoor forms a beautiful backdrop for this colorway.

In the October yarn drop, Aiden is celebrating their latest obsession: Baldur's Gate 3. Yeah, we know they're getting predictable at this point, but as long as the colorways that get born out of these obsessions are as lit as this one, we won't complain.

This is a one of a kind colorway. The recipe for this colorway is not written down and we may not be able to reproduce it.

About This Yarn Base:

Fiber contents: 60% Superwash Exmoor Blueface, 20% Corriedale, 10% Zwartbles, 10% Nylon

Weight per skein: 100 grams | 3,5 oz

Running Length: 400 meters | 437 yards

Yarn Weight: Fingering | Sock

Threads: 4-ply spun

60% Exmoor Blueface (fleece from the mix between an Exmoor and a Bluefaced Leicester sheep) gives the yarn strength and shine, 20% Corriedale adds softness, 10% Devon Zwartbles (which is originally a Dutch/Frysian sheep breed) adds a springy bounce and an amazing heathered look to the overall yarn. For extra security, and to make this yarn perfect for all your sock knitting needs, 10% nylon is added to round of this yarn base.

This yarn is perfect for sturdy warm socks without sacrificing any comfort. It can definitely be used for garments that need to last a while and blooms into a beautiful soft and sturdy yarn after blocking.

This base is sourced and milled by the lovely people over at John Arbon and I've fallen head over heels for this yarn (and I don't even knit socks...). If you are looking for solids to go with our hand dyed skeins, check out the Exmoor Sock section on the John Arbon website, since this is the same base yarn.

When purchasing hand dyed yarns, we recommend you purchase a sufficient amount of yarn for your project.

We sell handmade products that get produced in small batches. We always use the same recipes for repeatable colorways and work very precise measuring our materials. However, it's impossible to guarantee two skeins will ever look the same. With hand made products there is always some variation on the end product.

If you want a uniform result with the end product you are making, with knitting, crochet and weaving, alternate skeins once rows. If using fiber, you can mix and match some of the fibers as you go when spinning or felting.

When dyeing yarn we fully exhaust all pigments before going to the rinsing step. Despite the care we put into the rinsing process, mild bleeding is common in hand dyed yarn and if you have a skein with a bright or dark color, or it contains speckles, play it safe by rinsing the skein in cold water and some wool wash and let it dry before casting on.

This listing is for one (1) skein of yarn unless specifically mentioned otherwise. Photos of multiple skeins shows a comparison between yarn bases and/or skeins. Colorways may slightly vary depending on the screen due to your display settings.
